The DiStefano Brothers Companies (DBC) family throws a bash unlike any other four times a year. It’s more than just a meeting; it’s a quarterly all-hands get together – a chance to celebrate achievements, strategize for the future, and unleash some serious competitive spirit.

This year’s Q2 throwdown was extra special. We welcomed the brand new team from the DiStefano Brothers’ newest business, Inspired Closets Rhode Island. The day kicked-off with an all-hands meeting at the DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings HQ in North Kingstown. Peter DiStefano and the leadership team laid it all bare, sharing sales, production, and even profitability. It’s transparency at its finest, with plenty of room for questions – no topic off-limits! But the real highlight? Four brave souls stood up and shared, from the heart, why they love being part of the DiStefano Brothers family.

After huddling up en mass, we broke into smaller groups to tackle everything from client engagement to continuous improvement. By lunchtime, brains were buzzing, so it was time to fuel up with a legendary cookout at the Matunuck Community Center in South Kingstown.

Next up – a special guest! Ron Dorf, CEO of Penntek Industrial Coatings (DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings is a Penntek dealer), dropped some serious business wisdom. He shared his insights on what makes a company soar (and what makes it crash and burn), giving everyone a fresh perspective on the DBC successful business model.
